Since affiliated under the Dibrugarh University, The Department of Economics have been Performing the Following different activities in the College as well as outside of the College.

On dated 26/06/2017, we the department of Economics have celebrated the freshman Social. On this occasion Kukheswar Borah (Principal I/C), Sissiborgaon College have given his motivational speech to the departmental students. We the three faculty members Name Mr. Juganta Saikia, Mrs. Tatulata Bhuyan and Mr. Pulin Kr. Gogoi as well as the all of our students were present on this occasion.
The Debut edition of the Wall Magazine “ECONOMICA” of the department of Economics of Sissiborgaon College has been inaugurated by Mr. Ditul Lahan (Vice Principal) on dated 28/09/2018. On the occasion many of the Professors and Students were present. One memorable snapshots are attached herewith related to “ECONOMICA”.

On dated 03/10/2018, we the three department together name Department of Economics, Pol. Science and Sociology have gone to the Pasighat for Educational Tour. For this occasion we the three Faculty members as well as all our three semester students were present.
On the Occasion of Educational Tour for the session 2019-20 we have gone to the Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh. All of our three semester student as well as faculty members have present in this educational tour.

We the department of Economics also celebrated International Women Day/2022 in collaboration with NSS Unit Sissiborgaon College. In this day we the departmental students as well as NSS Volunteers and five faculty members went to the Adopted village and arrange a meeting with villagers and explained the importance of International Women Day. A few snapshots are shown regarding to the program me.

The Another Collaborated programme of Department of Economics was NSS Special Camp which was begins from 02/04/2022 to 08/04/2022 at the adopted village L.P. school.(Kadamoni LPs). Some snapshots related to the Programme are shown in the following.

The another Departmentally Collaborated programme was an Orientation Programme On “U-Report”, the suraksha campaign & for newly joint NSS Volunteers was held in our College at indoor stadium from 10.30 a.m. in the morning on dated 27/09/22. Some snapshots related to this programme is –
